The Computer Analogy: The mind is like comparing to a computer with software running such as our beliefs, our attitudes, our thinking patterns. Through meditation and jhana series, the mind experiences shutdown as in cessations, leading the extinguishment of the self which in reality feels as emptiness.

2. The Skinned Cow Analogy: Imagine a cow with its skin removed and put back on. It still look like a cow, moo like a cow but it’s not a cow anymore. That is how it is like for someone who nibanic; their humanness remains the same, but the center of the mind becomes blank and empty.

3. Just present-Moment Awareness: With emptiness setting in, memory fades away, and the mind functions in the present moment without the burden of thinking. Solutions arise spontaneously rather than through step-by-step thinking.

4. Gradual Learning and Adaptation: After emptiness sets in, there is a period of relearning and adaptation. It becomes challenging to function in daily life with the space on non-existence, but over time, through adaptation things become easier and eventually normal again.

5. Integration and Restructuring: After transformation, the self is extinguished and in its place; a non-existence space. This is a complete restructuring of the mind and how it relates to the world.

6. Seeking Support and Guidance: People who are going through this change should seek proper support, refuge, and guidance to navigate the process effectively.
