See teachers as chefs.
Receive their specialties
Be grateful
But leave the chef behind.
With this attitude, we can approach any teacher from any doctrine and still reap the benefits. In this age, we can’t be fussy and limit ourselves to only teachers from our own beliefs; because we may have outgrown them or it’s not a good fit anymore.
Leaving the chef behind means we don’t take their humanness on board. We also don’t take teachings that doesn’t make sense to us.
