Don’t litter

Simultaneous to learning how to clean our mind, is to be aware of not littering it.

  • Carrying the past into the present and reliving it; generating a negative mind set is litter.
  • Choosing to perceive in a fault-finding way is litter.
  • Judgmental view is litter.
  • Worry, anxiety is litter.
  • To beat ourselves because of our failure is litter.

In short, be aware of what is going on in our mind and if it results in a negative mind set of ill-will, greed, restlessness, drowsiness and excessive desires; then we know we are litter our mind.

Be careful of what we are doing, thinking and feeling, so that we don’t spend time in mediation cleaning them.
