Understanding kamma with weak wisdom means saying:
“This person made that kamma and now they reap it.”
Understanding kamma with strong wisdom means saying:
“This person did these acts of mind/body which will lead to a certain way of feeling in the future.”
Notice, with weak wisdom we understand it as a person creating and accumulating kamma. But with deep wisdom, kamma emphasises the feelings felt in the present momemts.
This is empowering because feelings are happening right now, the opportunities of ending suffering are now possible.
Whereas if we wrongly understand, kamma as “an eye for an eye”, then there is no salvation.
